Week 9/12 – Day 1

Jerk @2x14kg x1min @10rpm, 1min rest x2 sets

  • Jerk @18kg x2min e.s @14 rpm
  • Jerk @20kg x2min e.s @12 rpm
  • Jerk @16kg x4min e.s @16rpm

Glove snatch @12kg x4min e.s

Back squat warm up reps to 45kg; 47.5kg 3×3 sets, 45kg 3×3 sets 

Dumbbell 12.5kg Bench press x9*3 sets

Timed double jerks are harder..must be a mental thing of keeping track of reps and time now! All OAJ went well and on rpm although half way through my last set i really really needed to go to the bathroom..so that was interesting..i guess it’s all good training for if it ever happens in comp 😉 

It had been a long time since i really felt my forearms burn..today i felt the burn with the glove snatches..it was actually quite nice! 

Back squats continue to slowly progress which i am happy with. DB bench is good..the only downside to that is the dumbbells jump from 12.5 to 15..which is quite a big jump..i am ready to move up but not quite to 15kg dumbbells 😦
